Kokedama is a Japanese method of planting (often referred to as a 'Moss Ball') where the roots of the plant are bound by mosses and twine. Leaf & Moss select hardy varieties of houseplants suitable for this method of planting.
Kokedama make a wonderful gift for yourself or others and can be displayed on the included cork base or look great in macrame hangers.
Simply soak the ball in a small bowl of water for 30-60 minutes. For classic plant varieties (devils ivy, peace lillies, parlour palms etc) we suggest watering approximately every 7-10 days or 'when dry'. Smaller Kokedama will need to be watered approximately once a week and succulent varieties only need to be watered approximately every 2-3 weeks. *Timeframes vary slightly depending on the specific environment the plant is positioned in.
